Tradition wins two SEF accolades at the GlobalCapital Global Derivatives Awards 2017
Tradition, one of the world’s largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter commodity and financial products, has received two prestigious accolades at the GlobalCapital Global Derivatives Awards 2017, winning Swap Execution Facility of the Year – Overall, and Swap Execution Facility of the Year – CLOB.
The GlobalCapital Global Derivatives Awards 2017 recognise the best and brightest innovations in the derivatives industry. Judges honoured companies that have grown, innovated and strengthened the global derivatives market during the past year and announced this year’s winners at a gala dinner held in London last night.
Dan Marcus, CEO of Trad-X and Global Head of Strategy and Business Development at Tradition, comments: “These two awards are a testament to the growth and progress of our Swap Execution Facility (SEF) offerings over the past year. Tradition’s ongoing success has always been linked to our ability to understand and adapt to the evolving needs of our network, together with our expertise in OTC derivative markets and continued investment in proprietary technology.”
Scott Fitzpatrick, CEO at TraditionSEF, comments: “Being recognised in two SEF-focused categories furthers our position as a global leader in the SEF marketplace. TraditionSEF’s model is unique to the CLOB SEF environment and we have always been at the forefront of market structure evolution. We offer a hybrid ecosystem, combining the input of direct orders from market participants with voice introduced orders via the broker desk.”
TraditionSEF is the multi-asset class swap execution facility operated by Tradition. It operates markets for interest rate swaps, credit swaps, equity derivatives, commodity derivatives, foreign exchange options and NDFs, in cleared and uncleared swaps as markets determine.
